AN UPDATE on BOOK #3: 10/9/2020
The rough draft of Fear the Machine (Avant Nation, Book #3) is complete and I'm deep in editing mode. Also, I've written over half of book #4, which will conclude the series. Due to work obligations, this is taking me a lot longer than anticipated and I'm sorry about that. I'd much rather be writing than working at my real job, but the latter is what pays the bills. Thank you for your patience.

Add'l Info: The heroine lives on a world similar to present-day Earth with some notable differences. Her planet is two or three thousand years older than ours and Christ hasn't been born, yet. None of the characters have heard of the bible or Jesus. However, the story-beneath-the-story foreshadows His coming. Since the adventure is filtered through Glory's limited perspective, there are no direct references to Christianity in the book. All is hidden beneath the surface. It is left to the readers to find the symbols and themes that resonate with them.

Reviewers Weigh-In:
"Red was a jerk, but he grew on me. Just like a flawed hero should." --Ashley Murphy, Between the Pages
"I love the fact that a major character is a total bitch--as in female dog." --Donna from Indy
"Not a fan of aliens, but I like post-apocalyptic, so I took a chance. Glad I did. The survivors had dealt with so much loss, but never gave up. The way they learned to rely on each other was inspiring." --7th Heaven Book Review
"A little drama. A little romance. A lot of excitement. There's also a little religion, so consider yourself warned. Fortunately it's left for the reader to decide if the new powers come from god or if the scientific explanation is correct." --RJ
